About Max
I'm a bass guitarist, double bassist, and guitarist and have been performing and teaching jazz and popular music across Melbourne for the last 10 years.
I also compose music in a wide variety of styles including classical, folk, rock, jazz and modern improvised music.
I'm passionate about making music learning a rewarding experience for all students.

I am passionate about providing a fulfilling and engaging music learning experience for students. I believe in imparting musical knowledge and skills while creating a personalised approach to music-learning. I can teach a range of technical skills, from basic to advanced, as well as a variety of approaches to improvisation and composition. Whether you are just getting started on your instrument, or an intermediate player looking to expand your musical perspectives and abilities, I hope to help you on your journey.
Both 30 min and hour-long lessons are available.
