About Du
My name is Du Xin, and I am a passionate and professional educator from China with a Master’s degree in Musicology and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. I also hold a Senior High School Teaching Certificate, and I have several years of experience teaching piano, music theory, and Chinese music history to students of various ages and backgrounds. I’ve worked with both young beginners and advanced learners, and taught in universities as well as on professional online platforms such as VIP Peilian and Kuai Peilian. I am deeply committed to helping students not only develop their musical skills, but also gain a deeper cultural understanding and personal connection with the music they play. My background in academic research and performance allows me to blend precision with expressiveness in teaching. I’m patient, structured, and supportive — I believe in guiding students step by step, while also inspiring them to find their own voice through music. Whether you’re learning piano as a hobby, for exams, or to explore Chinese musical culture, I am here to help you grow with clarity, care, and confidence.
