About Robert
I am a Computer Science undergraduate studying at a Russell Group University in the UK. I am proficient in Python, Java, HTML, CSS and Javascript and I have studied Maths and Further Maths at school from the ages of 16-18, as well as discrete maths at university.
My CELTA qualification in English language teaching gives me good communication skills, and I have a knack for explaining complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
My friend is a PhD mathematics student who will curse you with his lightning bolts of mathematical ingenuity.

Conceptual Understanding: Emphasis on understanding the 'why' behind mathematical concepts, not just the 'how.' This involves exploring the fundamental principles and theories that underpin various mathematical topics.
Interactive Problem-Solving: Classes revolve around solving problems together, allowing students to actively engage with the material. This method not only helps in understanding concepts but also in applying them to solve real-world problems.
Personalised Instruction: Recognising that every student has a unique learning style, lessons are tailored to meet individual needs. This might include varying the pace of the lesson or focusing on specific areas where a student needs more support.
Lesson length can range from 1-3 hours. I am a Computer Science undergraduate studying at a Russell Group university in the UK as well as a qualified ESL teacher and my friend is studying PhD-level mathematics at university. We both have prior experience tutoring.
Our lessons are for university-level students and anyone else who would like to learn!
