Hi, my name's Alex and I'm studying French post A level at Newcastle University. Every lesson is individual as I teach French taking your interests i.e. music, sport, current affairs into account.

About Alex
I became a tutor because I love the process of watching a tutee grow and develop over time, as well as getting to know them as people. I chose to tutor French because I'm fascinated by the culture and enjoy the study of the language. My personal interests include: music since I listen to a lot of music and love playing the guitar; sports, especially football and skiing - I've also just started kickboxing and Jiu Jutsu - and I'm also a bit of a book worm.

Lessons are typically 30 minutes to an hour and I have over 50 hours experience tutoring. My lessons are for anyone up to and including A level. My lessons build a solid foundation in any given topic through direct exposure to the language. We will look at French books, videos or articles about your chosen topic which we can then put into written or spoken work. If you'd be better suited focusing on grammar in sessions, we can run through any construction and then practise it by putting it into your writing or simply using exercises.
