My name is Andrew and I am a graduate from the University of Toronto with around 5+ years of tutoring Mathematics and English.

About Drew
I am a graduate of the University of Toronto with academic training in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics. I have over five years of experience tutoring Mathematics and English, primarily at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels.
I have previously tutored high school mathematics and worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto for an Applied Statistics course, where I supported students with problem-solving, concepts, and exam preparation.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy music (I play the violin), staying active through sports such as basketball, hockey, and tennis, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I am friendly, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping students grow in confidence and ability.

My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals. I focus on building strong foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorizing steps.
I take the time to identify gaps in understanding and adjust my teaching approach accordingly. Lessons include guided practice, clear explanations, and plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions.
Whether the goal is improving grades, preparing for exams, or building confidence in math, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can succeed.
