About Freya
I recently graduated with a First-Class degree in French and German from the University of Cambridge and am currently studying for a Master's in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art.
I've lived in both France and Austria and have near native level in both French and German.
I love my languages and want to share that with others. I was not raised bilingually and am very familiar with the challenges of learning languages. Instead of seeing these challenges as a barrier, I want to help you achieve whatever goals you have, whether that's just ordering food in another country or becoming a UN Interpreter, I'm always happy to help!

My aim is to help students improve their confidence so that they can see concrete improvements in their linguistic abilities.
My approach is completely adapted to each student according to their needs. In general, I try to encourage a holistic approach, focussing on speaking, listening, reading and writing, while also incorporating cultural activities to keep the hour interesting.
I offer tuition for all levels, whether the student would just like to pick up French or German as a hobby, or whether they would like to pursue it at university-- everyone is welcome.
With over 150 hours of tutoring experience, I strive to provide a rigorous, rewarding and entertaining experience for all my students.
