About Katelyn
My name is Katelyn I was born deaf my parents found out at 18 months old. As I was 4 years old my parents decided it would be best to get a Cochlear Implant. I only have one on the right ear. My first language is ASL. I am a stay-at-home mom and I homeschool my children. I love helping other people to learn ASL. ASL is a big role in deaf culture and my life.

If you are new to ASL just to learn, for your child, career. iDeaf culture always said that its best to learn from a deaf person since it has been their first language. I am very patient with my clients. I typical start with basics signs then move onto grammar, full conversation.
