About Katie
I started tutoring my junior year of highschool as a hobby for free! Then I began helping with special education programs once I came to college at Utah state university. I have loved working with all different people helping them in a way that works for them. I have been a private tutor for about 3 years now also teaching Italians how to speak English.

As a kid, reading was very difficult for me, and it took a really long time to learn to love it. I went through about 20 tutors all with different styles of teaching throughout my childhood/teenage years. Now I enjoy helping students find a new, personalized way that they can actually progress in their reading and comprehension abilities. And I understand that it is different for everyone. I have helped many learn to love reading!
