About Salomé

These are some of my students' comments about me: • ‘Salome was truly the best teaching assistant I have ever had. She was so knowledgeable, caring, insightful, and just overall amazing. She was very organized, empathetic, and taught me so much.’ • ‘Salomé was great! I truly believe in my heart that she was made to be a teacher.’ • 'Salome was the most amazing language instructor I could have been assigned. She went above and beyond to help her students understand the material and was very passionate about her teaching. She came to class with a positive attitude always and made the class much better overall. The amount of time and effort she put into her teaching was extremely helpful and made a great difference in my understanding of the course material. I couldn't have asked for a better TA.’

About the lesson

For me, planning my students' classes considering their goals is key. I have been a teacher of English since 2016 and a former Spanish language Fulbright scholar 2018-2019. In May 2023, I earned my Master's Degree in Spanish Linguistics and I am currently a PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
I have experience at all educational levels: primary, secondary and university. I look forward to helping you reach your language aspirations!

I’ve worked with Salomé periodically over the past few years. Her personalized lessons helped prepare me for a trip to Argentina. Thanks to her dedication, I had the confidence to adventure around Buenos Aires by myself! Since my first trip, I’ve gone back to other parts of Argentina and we’ve also started working on vocabulary related to my profession. I highly recommend her!
