Hi, my name is Tristan and currently studying in the University in Reading. I spent most of my time playing piano in Hong Kong, moreover fluent in Cantonese English and mandarin. I achieved 8th grade

About Tristan
I am currently doing my bachelors in reading university. I have started playing the piano at the age of 5, achieving the qualification of 8th grade in piano ABRSM, as well as competing in competitions in Hong Kong, with champion in one of the inter-school competitions being the most remarkable one.
I enjoy playing the piano in my free time, as well as sharing my passion to others. Currently I’m teaching 7 students.

In my lessons, I employ a personalised approach, tailoring each lessons to the student skills and musical preferences. For someone who just kick started piano, or someone who’s trying to learn a particular song I would be there to assist. Not only grasp fundamental techniques, but also develop a genuine passion towards playing the piano. As a person who played the piano for most my life, I have been fortunate to experience different teaching methods. I understand what difficulties that student faces and will definitely help there overcome them.

Tristan was outstanding as a piano teacher. My son has been learning from him for over 2 years and he enjoys playing the piano more and more every day. He started off not knowing how to play piano and he is currently playing grade 3 now. Would recommend him to anyone!!
