About Joe
I am a professional guitarist from St. Louis now living and working in Nashville. I have studied at the University Of Tennessee and The City College of New York and Middle Tennessee University. I have worked professionally in those cities before joining a band in town called Jake Austin & The City Limits. With this band I have performed in front of thousands of folks alongside famous nationally known names such as Chuck Berry, Robert Randolph, Montgomery Gentry and more! After the end of that band I became a touring side man for some of county music's most successful artist including names such as Granger Smith, Logan Mize, Jimmie Allen and Hardy. I am also a part time guitar instructor and want to teach you to play and love guitar! I have 15 years teaching experience. I have taught in a variety of settings, in teaching studios, students homes, and my home. I am comfortable teaching ALL ages and ALL styles! I am very patient with students, yet push you to really work at music and improve every week all the while enjoying what your learning!

*** Lesson Details ***
I cater to students needs. I develop a curriculum based on their specific needs and musical goals. I have taught all levels of students. I am just as great with beginners as I am more experienced students. I strive to keep lessons fun and exciting for all my students. I focus on music they enjoy listening to and learning alongside music theory. I analyze styles from a theoretical perspective to help students better understand a particular style of music. If your a beginner, a few months in you can be playing chord changes to some of your favorite songs or if your further advanced you can be learning and transcribing some of your favorite artist's solos! It all depends on where you are musically what I teach you so you get the most out of your lessons!

Music Studio: desk with speakers, cd player, music stand, chairs, parents can sit in on lesson

Students need to have a guitar and amp if they have an electric guitar
