About Olamide
I’m Coach Ola, and I love two things: playing chess and winning!
Somehow, I’ve turned that passion into what I do today: coaching chess. I train kids to love the game, compete fearlessly, and ultimately, win!
I am a certified chess instructor and I have trained over 1000 kids over the years. I am also a youth development advocate and child specialist.

My chess lessons are designed to take children from complete beginners to confident players who can compete in chess tournaments. I teach the fundamentals, including piece movements, tactics, checkmates, opening principles, positional understanding and endgames. My approach is practical, engaging and tailored to each child’s pace of learning. As students improve, I introduce more advanced concepts, structured practice and tournament preparation to help them develop their skills and become chess champions.
