About Alicia

My name is Alicia, and I’ve been teaching English to international learners since 2016. My first teaching experience was in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where I worked with both children and adults in classroom and one-on-one settings. That experience taught me how important it is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students can speak freely without fear of making mistakes. I’m passionate about helping learners gain real confidence in everyday English — not just in textbooks, but in real conversations. I bring patience, positivity, and a bit of fun to every lesson!

About the lesson

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and conversation-based. I believe language is best learned by using it, so I focus on real-life speaking practice rather than memorizing rules. A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation, followed by vocabulary or grammar practice that’s connected to everyday situations like travel, work, or hobbies. I adjust my pace and teaching style depending on the student — visual learners, shy speakers, or fast talkers are all welcome! My lessons are great for beginners who want confidence in daily conversation, as well as intermediate learners looking to sound more natural and fluent. What sets me apart is my ability to create a relaxed space where students aren’t afraid to make mistakes — that’s where true progress happens.
