About Ema
I’m a Brazilian Portuguese tutor passionate about helping students feel confident speaking a new language. I’m TEFL-certified and also speak English, which allows me to support English speakers and provide clear explanations when needed.
My lessons are patient, practical, and personalized to your goals. I believe learning a language should feel comfortable and enjoyable, and I’ll encourage you to practice, make mistakes, and improve step by step.
Whether you’re learning Portuguese for travel, work, relationships, or everyday conversation, I’m here to help you build confidence and enjoy the process.

Practical & conversational: Learn Brazilian Portuguese through real-life conversations, useful vocabulary, and everyday expressions.
Personalized lessons: I adapt each lesson to your level, goals, interests, and learning pace.
Typical lesson: We start with a quick review, learn new vocabulary or grammar, practice through conversation, and finish with a short review.
English support: I also speak English, so I can provide explanations in English when needed, especially for beginners.
