About Juliana
I was born and raised in Brazil and have always had a deep connection to language, culture, and storytelling. I studied Drama and Literature, which strengthened not only my understanding of communication and expression, but also my appreciation for the richness of the Portuguese language.
Living between cultures has always inspired me to reconnect with my Brazilian roots and share them with others. I’m passionate about helping non-Portuguese speakers feel confident, culturally aware, and truly prepared, especially if they’re planning to visit Brazil.
For me, teaching Portuguese is not just about grammar and vocabulary; it’s about helping you understand the culture, humour, rhythm, and warmth behind the language so you can make the most out of your experience, whether that’s travel, work, or personal growth.

Olá! I’m a Brazilian–British citizen, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, and I’ve been teaching Portuguese for over 7 years to students across Europe.
As a true Carioca, I teach authentic Brazilian Portuguese, the way it’s really spoken, while making sure you understand the grammar and structure clearly and confidently.
