About Chandni

Hello, I'm Chandni, a qualified educator with over five years of teaching experience working with children, teenagers, and adults from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

I hold an AMI Montessori Diploma (ages 2.5-6) and have taught in the UK, Spain, and India. My experience includes teaching English as a foreign language, supporting literacy development, and helping learners build confidence in communication. I have worked with students from early childhood through to secondary school, as well as adults seeking to improve their English for professional or personal goals.

Alongside my teaching experience, I have supported adults with interview preparation, workplace communication, and professional development. Having worked with learners from many different countries and backgrounds, I understand both the practical and emotional challenges of learning and using a language with confidence.

What I enjoy most about teaching is helping people discover their potential and gain confidence in their abilities. Whether it's a child learning to read more fluently, a student strengthening their writing skills, or an adult finding the confidence to communicate more effectively, I find it incredibly rewarding to support learners on their journey and celebrate their progress.

My lessons are warm, supportive, and tailored to the individual. Whether you are looking to improve your speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, grammar, or overall confidence in English, I will create lessons that suit your goals and learning style.

About the lesson

I take a learner-centred approach, adapting each lesson to the individual student's needs, interests, and learning style. Drawing on my Montessori training and literacy teaching experience, I create lessons that support students at their current stage of development while building confidence and independence.

Depending on the student's age, ability, and goals, lessons may focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary development, grammar, writing skills, spoken English, fluency, or pronunciation. Whether a student needs support with literacy, wants to strengthen their communication skills, or is learning English as an additional language, lessons are tailored accordingly.

As a native British English speaker with a clear, neutral accent, I can also help students develop confidence in speaking and pronunciation.

I am patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. Most importantly, I strive to make learning engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful.
