About Yushi
Hello! I'm a native Mandarin speaker who has called the UK home for nine years, bringing a unique blend of Eastern wisdom and Western educational excellence to my teaching. My journey with cross-cultural communication began early - I started learning English at age 10, giving me deep insight into the language learning process from a student's perspective. My academic credentials reflect my commitment to both technical precision and creative expression. I hold a Master's degree in Engineering from UCL, demonstrating my analytical approach to problem-solving, and both a Master's degree and PhD in Humanities and Arts from the prestigious Royal College of Art, showcasing my cultural sensitivity and communication expertise. I have extensive tutoring experience at renowned institutions including the London College of Communication (LCC) and the Architectural Association (AA), where I've honed my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt to diverse learning styles.
