About John
I'm John, a native English speaker from the US with over 11 years of professional experience in business operations, customer experience, and process design at high-growth tech companies including Robinhood, Gusto, and Culture Amp. I currently work as a Business Process Design Consultant at a US-based management consulting firm, where clear and effective communication is at the core of everything I do.
Throughout my career I've coached teams, guided non-native English speakers through complex professional environments, and consistently translated difficult concepts into language that lands. That experience is what I bring into every tutoring session.
I'm based in Rome, Georgia and offer lessons exclusively online via video call. I'm patient, direct, and genuinely invested in helping every student I work with make real, noticeable progress. My students don't just improve their English — they build the kind of confidence that shows up in every conversation.

What sets me apart is 11+ years of real professional experience at companies like Robinhood, Gusto, and Culture Amp, combined with my current work as a Business Process Design Consultant.
