About Felix
I took a Trinity (TESOL) course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and have some experience of teaching classes. I am also a qualified tennis coach, teaching both children and adults.
I finished a degree in French & History in 2020 so have recent experience of language learning, which helps me to understand the challenges that students face.
I am based in London, UK and currently only offer online classes.

As a language student myself (French, German) I believe in conversation practice as an excellent way to build confidence in speaking and beginning to really construct language. I find that by talking around a topic the student is interested in, the lesson is more enjoyable for them yet will also bring up important vocabulary and grammar points.
A typical lesson might be to have an introduction/catch up with the student, establish if there is anything in particular they would like to work and to then have a conversation on a topic of interest (e.g. history, sport). During the class I can address specific teaching points and other interesting aspects of the language that come up. To end a lesson it can be fun to do something lighter so I might devise a short quiz or game.
I enjoy speaking to and teaching people of different ages and cultural backgrounds and can adapt the lesson as necessary.
