About Bas
Having travelled to many countries with their own languages, I understand the hardship in trying to get along with your own language. I am lucky that English is so widespread. Additionally, I have been to many corners of Britain and learnt about their accents.
My accent is not received pronunciation but it is close and I pride myself on it. I speak clearly and nicely.
I am a keen hiker, forager and fisherman. An outdoorsman if you will but also take time to read about the military and write about travels and culture.

Immersion is the most valuable lesson for speaking, I think. As you are living in England you have a head start but you could always improve.
I will offer lessons where we have English conversations on a variety of subjects, your choice or mine. We will try and make it as natural as possible and then I can provide feedback and corrections at the end.
This will help you gain confidence in your ability, vocabulary and fluency to have conversations with anyone.
My lessons are for any age and fluency but would better suit young adults and adults who have decent levels of fluency.
Lessons can be 30 minutes to a few hours depending on the situation. Remember, I speak English all day- it just depends on how much you want to practise!
We can also talk about grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing.
