About Phoebe
I'm an experienced ESL trainer who has been living abroad and running my own small ESL training business in Germany for the past seven years. In this time I've taught English in Spain, Ireland, Germany and Vietnam and now I'd like to move back home to Australia and offer the same thing there.

I base my methodology on the Lexical Approach which is always teaching a word in context i.e. in a 'chunk' of language or in a phrase. I also write down sentences which weren't 100% correct during a lesson and I ask the student to correct them him/herself at the end. If they don't know what is wrong with the sentence, it means we have identified a gap and I can then plan a lesson based on that particular grammar topic.
