About DEMBA
My name is Demba. I am originally from Mauritania, and I have been living in Turkey for 5 years. I am a computer engineer and a polyglot, fluent in seven languages, including French, Arabic, Turkish, and Portuguese. I am also an IELTS-certified English language teacher and have taught French and Arabic in the past.
I have a passion for learning new cultures and traditions, and I believe the best way to do so is by firstly learning languages and secondly traveling. I love traveling and have explored numerous European, African, and Asian countries. I spent a full year in Portugal, which provided me with the opportunity to learn the Portuguese language and immerse myself in Portuguese culture.
Living in Turkey for the past five years has allowed me to master the wonderful Turkish language and immerse myself in the rich Turkish culture. I have traveled extensively throughout Turkey, and I have a deep appreciation for Turkish food and culture.
I am a super outgoing and extroverted individual, and nothing makes me happier than meeting new people, interacting with them, and making new friends.

In my classes, my first priority is creating a safe and supportive space where students can express themselves freely and without fear of making mistakes. I then focus on identifying the techniques and methods that best suit each learner, ensuring that their learning journey is both effective and personalized.
By combining my teaching expertise with the strategies I developed while mastering 6 foreign languages myself, I have helped countless students break through their shyness, rebuild confidence, and achieve real fluency in English communication.
General English
I focus on fluency, confidence, and communication. Students learn to express themselves naturally in real-life situations, while also improving grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in a practical way.
IELTS Preparation
As an IELTS-certified English teacher, I use real IELTS test materials to prepare students for success. In my 12-hour package, we typically solve 4 complete tests together. I also teach smart strategies that make answering easier, faster, and more effective — helping students reach higher band scores with less stress.
Interview & Professional English
For career-focused learners, I provide mock interviews, professional meeting simulations, and workplace communication practice. My goal is to help you present yourself confidently and clearly in interviews, international conferences, or business discussions.
