About Maura
Hello and welcome. I am a kind, patient and goal-oriented English teacher based in Limerick. I have a Master of Education, CELTA and PGCE with over ten years of experience. I have taught in Austria and Italy with children, teens and adults. Lessons are relaxed and friendly with clear steps and lots of speaking. I support dyslexia and other learning differences. I speak German fluently and can explain in German when helpful. Online anywhere or in person in Limerick (I can travel up to 10 km). Expect prepared resources, punctual starts and simple progress updates after each session. Tell me your goals and we will plan a clear path together.

My Approach: -Short chat and quick check to see your starting point -Simple goals we agree together -Calm, structured lessons with lots of speaking -Children: games, stories and phonics -Exams: clear tips, timed practice and model answers -Dyslexia and neurodivergence: small steps, visual aids and steady routines -Feedback at the end with one or two tasks to practice My Qualifications: Master of Education CELTA ICEP Europe training in inclusive education 10+ years in schools, a higher level language institute and private tutoring Typical Lesson Length: Standard 60 minutes 45 minutes for younger learners 90 minutes for intensive prep if needed
