About Eloïse

My name is Eloïse and I just graduated cum laude from Carleton College as a biology major. I am a deeply compassionate individual with a wide range of tutoring experience. There is no place for judgment in my lessons and I meet my students at whatever level they are at. I am engaging and fun, albeit that does not mean my lessons are easy. I always make sure to share my passion for the subject.

About the lesson

I am a fantastic tutor for all ages and levels. I have experience tutoring 8 year olds learning French for the first time to adults that are native speakers and need better command of writing. I have myriad resources from my time as a teaching assistant in college and from the many teachers in my life. I incorporate fun and culture into all my lessons, as I was taught to during my time working at a liberal arts college.

Review

Eloïse has taught me French for over two years. She is a patient, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable tutor with the skills to adapt lessons to each student, subject, and need. She spends hours preparing each week for her students, and the results show. After regular sessions I can now speak, read, and write, including with native speakers on a recent trip to France.
