About Roxane

As I have studied various languages myself (English, Spanish and Portuguese), I know what it is like to learn a new language, to get one's head around a new set of grammatical rules and to discover a new culture which can be pretty different from our own. But that's also part of why we do it!

I am also a French Teaching Assistant at the University of Leeds.

Finally, I already have many tutees, both online and around Manchester.

About the lesson

I am a French native speaker, from the Champagne region in the north-east of France. I have been living in the UK for a decade now. I am a professional interpreter and translator as well and I love teaching French as a foreign language.

As I have studied various languages myself (English, Spanish and Portuguese), I know what it is like to learn a new language, to get one's head around a new set of grammatical rules and to discover a new culture which can be pretty different from our own. But that's also part of why we do it!

Regarding my academic degrees, I possess a BA in Languages and an MA in Interpreting and Translation.

Everyone is different, has different goals in mind and can start my lessons with a different level of French so just drop me a line and we can discuss what is best for you. I offer both online and face-to-face lessons.
