About Lise
Bonjour ! I'm Lise and I was born and raised in France. I completed an undergraduate degree in English-speaking studies last year in Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne (look it up it's your first homework!). I'm currently doing an English MA at the University of Galway and I'd love to help students of all ages while sharing my culture in a fun way. I know what it's like to struggle in a specific subject (I used to hate math growing up) which is why I want to help you (re)gain interest in French :) Please text me if you have any questions or specific inquiries!

my motto is to adapt to my students' needs. Lessons are usually 1 hour, but shorter or longer lessons can be arranged depending on the student's attention span and needs. All lessons revolve around a light-hearted conversation about french culture (food, music, movies, games, etc...) in which I include vocabulary, grammar and written practice. My lessons are tailored to the student's needs and level, and are designed to encourage the student's interest in the language and culture.

Lise was a great French teacher, very patient, dynamic and passionate. Her lessons were always centered around the latest news or pop-culture which made me feel like I was just having a conversation with a friend instead of a lesson, 10/10 would recommend !
Lise is literally my biggest homedawg when it comes to french. She helped me basically ace my french exams in my final year. I was never that good at languages until she blessed me with the opportunity to improve, I can’t thank her enough for everything she’s helped me with.
