About Ghali
I grew up and studied entirely in the French school system before moving to Montreal to study Mathematics and Computer Science at McGill.
French was always one of my strongest subjects. I maintained an average of around 19/20 throughout high school and received 20/20 in philosophy at the French Baccalauréat, so I’m particularly comfortable with written French, argumentation, text analysis and precise expression.
I’m also a language learner myself: I speak English at C1 level, Arabic at C1, and Spanish at B1. That means I’m familiar with the process of learning grammar, building vocabulary, improving pronunciation and becoming comfortable speaking a language that is not your first.
I’m serious about preparing lessons properly, but I also want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and actually speaking.

I adapt each lesson to what the student actually wants to improve: conversation, grammar, pronunciation, writing, vocabulary, or schoolwork.
For speaking, we can work mainly through conversation, with corrections and explanations as they naturally come up. For grammar or writing, I take a more structured approach and focus on the specific weaknesses that are holding you back.
I can help with both everyday French and more academic French: speaking naturally and confidently, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, written expression, essays, text analysis, or school assignments.
