About Bastien

I am a French teacher with an Alliance Française Diploma (DAEFLE), I have taught in French, English, German and Portuguese

my language certificates
-English Cambridge First Certificat
-German Goethe-Institut Zertificat B2
-Portugueses CELP-BRAS B2

I come from Switzerland, I taught 2 years buisness French language course in Avenida Paulista the "Wall Street from Brazil"
I taught professionally for 4 years arround the world,

I work arround the world, in Europe, in Usa
and in Brazil

About the lesson

In my course, there are 3 options

- 1. We can study freely together by talking about many subjects that fascinate me.
(there really are many) that match your interests., I would open my books only if you have a specific grammatical doubt or you want guidance to dominate a specific subject.

2. We can take my "general methods approach", which is complete, well organized, and based on practice.

- 3.I can select a book to guide our studies (This could be focused on vocabulary, oral comprehension, French culture etc, as per your need and your goal).

My goal is not only that you learn new words and improve your communication skills
but also, to help you gain confidence and the motivation to keep improving.

My personal touch is teaching French as a modern and practical language while also introducing elements of the French culture.

Just let me know where you want to begin, Or if you don't know where you need to begin, and we'll create a plan together.

I have the pleasure to have classes with Bastien. He is an excellent tutor and loves what he does, teaches very well, clear and with patience. On top of that he is a very nice person. What else can we expect from a tutor? I really recommend to have classes with him.

Bastien is a superb language instructor! I have been learning French with him for several months now with a focus on conversational lessons. He incorporates current and relevant materials into his pedagogy (interesting topics, videos, book and film suggestions), which means you get even more than the time that you book with him because he opens up the world of French language and culture so that you can keep learning outside of class too. This is just one example of how Bastien invests in his students and how he brings his best to every lesson. Besides that, he brings a great energy to class every day that motivates me to continue studying and learning with him. Another thing that I really appreciate is he does not allow me to get away with mistakes! He takes the time to stop and correct me, which is something I would not have access to without our lessons and something which is really helping me progress with my French. Overall, he is a top class instructor, and I highly recommend him.

Bastien is very thoughtful, kind, professional and has many resources to enhance the learning experience. Classes are fun and communicative, but one can also expect a grammar based series of lessons in order to acquire expertise. It is overall a great investment! :-)
