About Louis
I am a native French speaker who moved to the UK in September 2022 to study Geography at UCL. I grew up in Paris and have always wanted to share my passion for my language and culture. That's why I decided to teach French during my three years of 'lycée' (Sixth Form). Having studied French literature, history, and sociology at a baccalaureate level (the French equivalent of A-levels), I will not only be able to make you learn my language but also discover various aspects of my culture. Having taught French for three years, I have familiarised myself with diverse teaching methods that I will adapt to your needs. Hence, the first (free) lesson is a way for me to evaluate your language skills and understand your demand: prepare for an exam (GCSE, A-level, IB, DELF, or DALF), improve your general language proficiency (speaking, listening, writing, and reading), gain more vocabulary, chat with a native speaker, learn about French culture/education system, etc. I will use different resources (textbooks, videos, articles, podcasts, book extracts,...) to make my lessons more effective and interactive but also make you discover several aspects of French culture.
