About Romain
My name is Romain, and I am a French native speaker currently living and working in Melbourne as an engineer.
Having grown up and studied in France before gaining international professional experience, I bring both a deep command of the French language and a genuine understanding of what it takes to learn and adapt to a new culture.
As someone who has navigated life in a foreign country myself, I know firsthand the challenges and rewards of language learning.
This experience shapes the way I teach, with patience, encouragement, and a focus on real, practical communication.

As a French native speaker and working professional, I offer an immersive and conversational approach to learning French.
My lessons are conducted as much as possible in French from day one, allowing students to build confidence and develop a natural feel for the language — just as a native speaker would.
Each session typically lasts one hour and is tailored to the student's goals, whether that's everyday conversation, travel, work, or simply a passion for the French language and culture.
I teach students of all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners looking to refine their fluency.
Drawing on my own experience as a professional and previous teaching experience, I focus on real-life situations and practical vocabulary rather than dry textbook exercises.
My goal is to make every lesson engaging, dynamic, and immediately useful.
Lessons are available in person across Melbourne or online — whichever works best for you!
