About Sarah
Hi! I am a native French speaker from Lyon in my second year of university at UCL in London.
I grew up in a trilingual environment and therefore feel confident in helping students improve their language skills.
I have experience working with children and teenagers, ranging from helping my younger siblings with homework to coaching at tennis summer camps and helping peers successfully apply to universities. I enjoy feeling as though I can make a difference by helping others improve and become more confident in what they are doing.

Lessons are interactive with a focus on speaking, helping build confidence and fluency.
I prefer face to face teaching, as this usually makes lessons more engaging, although I am also happy to provide lessons online. I am very flexible and happy to adapt to the age and level of any potential tutees, although I have more experience with younger children (under 13). Having grown up in the French education system, I know how to explain basic grammar/conjugation but can also help with more complex skills such as essay-writing.
Lessons are usually an hour long, so as not to overwork tutees, but I also offer 1:30-2 hour sessions if tutees want to work on something specific more intensively.
