About Phineas
Having grown up and studied in France, I moved to the UK where I now live and work tutoring all levels of students, From pre-GCSE students through to A-Level, as well as retirees looking to brush up on their vocabulary!
As a native French speaker with a lot of experience teaching slightly more timid students, I understand the importance of taking things at the right pace and instilling confidence through my teaching.
By listening to and adapting to your needs, I will create a relevant, tailored course of lessons to help you overcome the inevitable hurdles of learning a new language!

Specialising in GCSE and A-Level French tutoring, my lessons are designed to instil confidence in French language through spoken, written and listening exercises.
With a in-depth knowledge of French GCSE and A-Level curriculums, I will teach you the relevant material to make excellent progress in your grades.
Before our first lesson, I will find out a little about your current level as well as what you are aiming to achieve. With this, we'll create a tailored course with challenging but achievable goals.
Most lessons are 1 hour but of course this can be tailored to suit your needs. I am happy to teach by video call or in person (based near Victoria, central London).
