About Mireille

I am currently studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh as my second degree. My first degree was in Biology which I did at the University of Ottawa (the capital university of Canada, where I am from). I have always had a passion for teaching. I started tutoring when I was 12 years old and later on taught at the University of Ottawa. I am a very proud French Canadian and sharing my language which people that want to learn brings me a lot of joy!

About the lesson

The lessons are tailored to the student's learning objectives whether it be grammar, reading, or speaking. I like to make interactive activities to make it more fun and easier to learn! I can help with French homework, do a personal French course programme, or simply practise conversational skills by discussing all sorts of topics.

Gabrielle

I met Mireille in a French provincial competition and have stayed in contact ever since. As a former teaching assistant, she showed us she is very patient. She loves guiding her students and going the extra mile to help them grasp the concepts. Finally, she is a ray of sunshine, and she will have you leave the session with a smile on your face. Choosing Mireille will bring fun to your french class, and as a french speaker, that will be necessary to keep you motivated!

Mireille and I have been close friends for years. She is fluent in French, English, and Spanish, which I know will help her connect with her students and explain things in a way that they will understand. In additional to being punctual, organized and professional, she is patient and friendly. I am sure that students will have a good learning experience with her!
