About Maelle
My name is Maelle, I’m a native French speaker with experience teaching people of all ages and levels. I previously worked as a flight attendant, where I also helped train new team members — an experience that strengthened my communication and teaching skills. As a native French speaker, I have the advantage of having grown up with the language, which allows me to share not only correct grammar and vocabulary, but also natural pronunciation, idiomatic expressions, and cultural nuances. I’m able to teach French to learners of all ages and levels — from complete beginners to more advanced students looking to refine their skills. My teaching approach is always personalized, based on each learner’s goals and needs. This can include learning the basics (such as greetings, essential vocabulary, and verb conjugations), building conversational skills, preparing for exams, or improving written French. I use a variety of engaging materials — such as dialogues, videos, articles, games, and real-life scenarios — to keep lessons interactive and motivating. I also place a strong emphasis on speaking and active listening, to help learners build confidence and become more independent in their use of the language.
