Hello! My name is Sophie. I am a native French speaker and trilingual tutor teaching French, Spanish, and English (ESL). I have three years of classroom teaching experience and enjoy helping students feel more confident using a new language.
My teaching method is personalized and interactive. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. I combine conversation practice, grammar explanations, pronunciation work, and practical exercises so students can both understand the language and actively use it.
A typical lesson often begins with a short conversation warm-up to practice speaking, followed by targeted explanations or exercises depending on the student’s needs. We then practice the language through guided activities, real-life situations, or school-related material.
What sets me apart is that I am a native French speaker and a trilingual teacher, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and compare languages when helpful. My classroom experience also helps me support students who are currently taking French or Spanish at school.
Lessons are open to children, teens, and adults, from beginners to more advanced learners. I work with students who want school support, conversation practice, exam preparation, or simply to learn a language in a supportive and encouraging environment.
