Perfect! I contracted Lauriane for a number of sessions to improve my spoken and written French (A/S-level standard but unused for 40 years) for a potential job application requiring a high standard of spoken and written French. As a native French speaker, Lauriane has been outstanding in that task, focusing the lessons on the specific task and the vocabulary associated with the job application. Having learned French before computers, mobile phones and social media, there was a good deal of new day-to-day vocabulary, conventions and grammar to become acquainted with, and Lauriane was excellent at this too. She prepared fully for every lesson, reading into the session in her own time beforehand, setting and receiving pertinent “homework” and sharing links to films, TV programmes and radio stations to assist me in re-attuning my ear to the language. Lauriane is a very interesting and personable tutor, with whom it has been an absolute pleasure to work, and I wish her well. I am unable to comment on her level of English; we simply did not communicate in English at all. She has been truly excellent.
