I have been enjoying on line french lessons with Solenne since October last year. I am an adult learner who had not studied French since doing an O level 50 years ago. I particularly wanted to work on my listening and speaking skills as in my day we never really got to try speaking the language.

Solenne has been my French tutor for over 5 years. My objective in starting French lessons was to improve my conversational skills and my comprehension of both the written and spoken language but in particular the latter. Solenne’s approach has been varied and stimulating. She has used different techniques eg:
- watching short news/information films and completing comprehension exercises both spoken and written;
- lessons covering aspects of grammar;
- conversation addressing a wide range of topics;
- studying articles from newspapers and magazines and discussing their content.
The lessons challenge me but enable me to see that progress is being made. Most of all they are enjoyable and never a chore.
