About Ciara
Hi! I’m a Stage 4 student at UCD studying BComm International with French. I’m originally from Barbados and my dad is French and my mom is Irish, so I grew up speaking French at home and it has always been a big part of my life.
I really love speaking French, and since living in Ireland I don’t get to use it as much as I used to. Most of the time, I now speak French with my dad or when I’m giving grinds, which is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching it so much!
I particularly enjoy helping students with oral French, pronunciation, listening and comprehension, while also helping with vocabulary, grammar and written work where needed. I want my lessons to be relaxed and enjoyable, while helping students feel much more confident using French themselves!
