About Claude
Native French. Highly approachable professional with twenty two years of hands-on teaching experience.
Being a versatile educator, I have taken every opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and facets of society, including business professionals.
As a result, I remain sensitive to students´individual needs, employ effective teaching strategies, provide both individual and group support and offer positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students motivated.

In the past 22 years I have developed a lively, warm and confident classroom manner that encourages a lot of student participation and personalisation. Some of my strengths are clear, logical eliciting and concept checking, the accurate perception of different student needs and confident competent classroom management. I tend to use visuals or realia to introduce the topic of the lesson. I also like to introduce items of cultural and personal relevance in the classroom and encourage real-life application of the language. Use of authentic materials, role plays, songs and short videos. So, whether you are an absolute beginner or a proficient speaker, I´m here to help!
