About Ella
My name is Ella and I’m a second-year student in Dublin City University. Although my degree doesn’t have anything to do with Irish at the minute, it doesn’t change my love for the Irish Language. I attended all Irish Speaking schools growing up from Naíonra up to the very end of 6th year. My approach to Irish has gotten me a H1 in the leaving cert (97%), confidence to speak fluently, opportunities to work in the Gaeltacht and genuine enjoyment in helping others.

As someone who is not too long out of the education system, I believe in approaching Irish in a different way from secondary schools. No more learning off full essays but actually understanding the vocab needed and using it with confidence when it’s most needed.
