About Oliver Ross
I graduated from the Liceo Classico in Pescara with a score of 90/100, with top marks both in Italian and English.
I help many students with both Italian and English coursework, preparing them for school exams and diplomas by adopting a light-hearted, enjoyable yet productive tutoring attitude. I also occasionally teach Italian to small and/or large groups at Duolingo events in Newcastle.
I am very patient and cheerful and I always aim at making lessons as interesting and entertaining as possible.

Ciao!
I am originally from Abruzzo (central Italy) and I attended the Liceo Classico in Pescara, a very demanding school that focuses mainly on Italian, Ancient Greek, Latin, English, History and Philosophy.
I have worked as an Italian/English translator for a British translating and interpreting company, and I'm currently working as a content manager here in the North East.
I have great experience in tutoring as I used to offer English lessons to Italians (both young people and adults), whilst also helping a doctor translate a medical book on cosmetic surgery from English to Italian, and have taught Italian at 'Duolingo' events in Newcastle.
I am a big fan of the Italian language and I am very happy to help anyone who loves it as much as I do and/or finds its grammar and/or spelling quite challenging.
