About Mattia

Ciao a tutti! I grew up in the Italian countryside and have been living in Scotland for 6 years. I studied Social Anthropology at Edinburgh University, which means I love learning together with people. I have earned experience teaching English, French, German and Italian as a private tutor at different levels of learning.

Italian is my first language. English is my second and then come German and French. I am most suited to teach Italian for both written and oral communication. Piacere di conoscerti!

About the lesson

Vediamo un po'! Above all I have experience learning languages. I know the hardships and the challenges. My approach is gradual and not textbook-based. The basis for learning a language in a meaningful way is passion - as well as curiosity. I am interested to know what your goals and drive are - we can take it from there. As I say in Italian: Iniziamo da lì!
