About Dahyun
Hi there! I’m Dahyun Yi, a South Korean living in the UK. My language journey has been quite an adventure—I grew up in the US, studied in South Korea for university, earned my master’s degree in Edinburgh, and now work as a freelance interpreter for Korean and English! I’ve always loved learning new languages and cultures (I’m currently learning French, which is super exciting but a little tricky!). I know exactly how it feels to want to learn a language and use it in real life but not know where to start—that’s why I’m here to help! My lessons are all about you and what you need. Whether you want to confidently chat with friends at a K-pop concert, buy your favourite K-beauty products like a pro, or just sound natural in daily conversations, I’ll make sure we focus on phrases and words you can use right away!
