About Diego (Junseo)
Hi! My name is Diego (Junseo), and I am a native Korean speaker currently studying at the University of Bristol. I was born and raised in South Korea until Year 8 before moving to Malaysia, where I attended a British international school and completed my GCSEs and A Levels. I also studied at the University of Leeds before completing my military service in South Korea, and I am now continuing my studies at the University of Bristol. Having lived in different countries and experienced different cultures, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I am fluent in both Korean and English, so I can explain Korean clearly and in a way that is easy to understand. My goal is to make learning Korean enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building through friendly, personalised lessons tailored to each student’s needs.

My lessons focus on practical Korean that you can use in real life. We will start with Hangul, pronunciation, and the basics of reading and writing. Once you have learnt the foundations, we will move on to real-life situations such as ordering food, introducing yourself, shopping, travelling, asking for directions, or having everyday conversations with Korean friends. Rather than memorising long grammar rules, I encourage students to speak naturally through conversation and role-play. Every lesson is personalised to your goals, whether you are learning Korean for travel, K-pop, K-dramas, work, or simply for fun. My aim is to help you become confident using Korean in real situations.
