About Patrick

A little about me: I've spent over 25 years leading and training teams of up to 25 people, so explaining things clearly and calmly is second nature to me. Outside of work I love film, music, good food, and long conversations — so our lessons will never feel like a lecture.

About the lesson

Ahlan! I'm Patrick, a native Arabic speaker from Lebanon, now living in Ontario, Canada. I speak Lebanese (Levantine) Arabic at home and with family every day, and I also speak Modern Standard Arabic — plus fluent English and French, so I can explain anything to you in the language you're most comfortable learning in.

My lessons are conversation-first. From lesson one, you'll be speaking real, everyday Arabic — the kind people actually use with friends, family, in shops, and when travelling — not just textbook phrases. I'm patient with beginners and I never rush: we go at your speed, and I write down new words and phrases for you as we go.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a lesson; lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged in full.
