About Icy
Hi! :)
I am originally from Hong Kong, and I have also lived and studied in mainland China for several years. This has given me a strong understanding of both the languages and cultures. I have two years of experience translating movie subtitles, as well as one year of experience teaching English and Cantonese to Mandarin speakers, Mandarin and Cantonese to English speakers, and French to mandarin speakers.
I am currently a university student majoring in Linguistics and French, so I understand the challenges students may face when learning a new language. I am passionate about language learning and enjoy helping others build confidence in their language skills. In my free time, I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and playing the violin and bass guitar.
I'm friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about languages, and I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals!
