About Qiyuan
I am a 26-year-old from Guangzhou, China, currently living in Sydney. I grew up in Guangzhou and moved to Australia when I was 16 years old. I have lived in Melbourne, Canberra, and the Gold Coast, and before that I lived in Bangkok for one and a half years. I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and a former preschool teacher, and I love sharing my language and culture. My many travel experiences in different countries also make it fun to be friends with me.

I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from China who has lived in Australia for around nine years. I have a background in early childhood education (Southern Cross University) and worked as a preschool teacher, including experience teaching Chinese to children in a child care centre. I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners, children and adults alike, and I tailor each lesson to the student's needs. My lessons focus mainly on spoken Chinese: everyday conversation, pronunciation and listening, using interactive and engaging methods to build real speaking confidence. Let's make learning to speak Chinese an enjoyable and rewarding experience together!
