About Allan
I was born and raised in Manhattan, New York City, by Asian parents. In addition to a few languages spoken at home, I studied languages all throughout my schooling, earning a Master's degree in German language and literature, and also using my knowledge of different languages professionally, as an academic research and special collections librarian. But all throughout my professional life I have always helped people improve their English, because I know what it's like to learn a language. When I learned English growing up, I was always very good in grammar, spelling, vocabulary, style, and writing, and I can help you with those, too!
