About Sheyda
My name is Sheyda, a native Persian speaker living in the United States. I am an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. I have been working as a teacher since 2010. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Arts in Anthropology, and have earned the CELTA certificate in 2016 at Boston Teaching House. My experience as an ESL teacher has helped me understand international students’ problems and connected me to people from different backgrounds.

I am a CELTA-certified teacher with 6+ years of experience teaching English to all levels of adult and teenage students with different cultural backgrounds. I have designed and conducted lesson plans for group and individual classes. I believe learning a new language should be fun and functional.
