About Anabel
¡Hola!
My name is Anabel and, since becoming a qualified teacher in the UK, I have been teaching Spanish in secondary school for over 4 years, teaching GCSE (iGCSE and AQA) and A-Level (Edexcel and AQA). I also have experience with conversational Spanish and home schooling students, helping them achieve fantastic results in GCSE Spanish.
After finishing my degree in Hispanic Philology in Spain, where I am originally from, I moved to London to work for the British Council as a Language Assistant in a secondary school in London, where later on I did teacher training with St Mary’s University.
I know the depths of my language to explain it in detail for a non-native speaker, understanding at the same time what it is to learn a second language. On the other hand, I also can organise conversational lessons that feel like chatting to a friend while having some tapas!
Note for GCSE and A Level: I currently offer spots for revision for the coming exams + starting for next academic year. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
